How much does Shopify development cost in Los Angeles?
A custom theme build runs $6,000 to $14,000. Larger builds with subscriptions or system integration run $14,000 to $28,000. Shopify Plus and headless work starts around $28,000. Ongoing plans run $900 to $4,500 a month.
How many apps is too many?
There is no fixed number, but each one adds scripts to every page. If your store loads more than a handful, an audit usually finds two doing the same job and one responsible for a large share of the load time.
Our launches spike hard. Will Shopify hold?
Shopify handles a lot but not everything. Caching behaviour, a CDN configured properly, honest stock states and a decided queue behaviour, then load tested against a spike shaped like yours before you announce the date.
Can we put creator content on product pages?
Yes, and done properly it converts better than a review widget. What matters is recording the rights, serving the media at a sensible weight and having a workflow your team can run weekly rather than a feed that quietly breaks.
We sell wholesale as well. Can that live here?
Yes, as a separate logged-in experience with its own pricing, minimums and terms. Serving stockists through the consumer storefront compromises both experiences, and it is worth scoping properly rather than approximating with tags.
Do we need Shopify Plus?
Usually not until volume, checkout customisation or multi-store requirements justify it. Plenty of LA brands pay for Plus and use nothing standard Shopify does not already do, and we will say so rather than upsell it.
Will our team be able to merchandise?
That is the point of the platform. Products, collections, content, promotions and homepage sections all editable without a developer, and we train the people who will actually do it rather than whoever signed the contract.
Do you have an office in Los Angeles?
No. We work with LA brands remotely on Pacific hours and would rather say that than imply otherwise. Not carrying LA overheads is part of why our published numbers differ.
