How much does it cost to hire a Webflow designer?
A landing page or microsite runs $2,500 to $6,000. A marketing site of 8 to 15 pages runs $6,000 to $16,000. Larger sites and rebrands run $16,000 to $30,000. Design-only engagements where your team builds are $4,000 to $12,000. Webflow's own hosting plans are billed separately by Webflow.
How long does a Webflow build take?
One to three weeks for a landing page, four to seven for a marketing site, and two to four months for a larger site with migration and localisation. Webflow shortens the build phase compared with a custom stack, but design and content approval take exactly as long as they always do.
Is Webflow good for SEO?
Yes. It outputs clean semantic markup, gives you full control over titles, descriptions, canonicals and redirects, and generates a sitemap. It is not a shortcut to ranking, and no platform is. The things that decide whether you rank are content, structure and links, none of which come free with the tool.
Can my team update the site without a developer?
That is the main reason to choose Webflow. With collections and components set up properly, a marketer can publish pages, change copy and add case studies without touching a developer. It depends heavily on the build being structured for editing rather than just for launch, which is where many Webflow projects fall down.
What are Webflow's CMS limits?
Each plan caps the number of CMS items, and the limits are low enough that a content-heavy site can reach them. Check your current volume and where it will be in two years before choosing a plan. Migrating to a higher plan is straightforward, but discovering the ceiling mid-project is not.
Can I sell products on Webflow?
For a small catalogue, yes. Past that its e-commerce is noticeably weaker than Shopify on checkout, apps, payments and inventory. Most brands that are serious about selling run Shopify for the store, and we integrate the two rather than force everything through one platform.
Can I export the site and leave?
You can export the static code, but you lose the CMS, forms and anything dynamic, which means rebuilding the parts that mattered. Treat Webflow as a platform commitment rather than a temporary home, and factor the ongoing hosting cost into the decision from the start.
Do you work with an existing Webflow site?
Yes. Common requests are restructuring collections that were set up badly, cutting page weight from over-used interactions, and rebuilding a template site as a custom design. We audit first and tell you whether fixing or rebuilding is better value.
Who owns the Webflow project?
You do. We build in your workspace or transfer the project to it at handover, so the site, the account and the billing are yours. You are never locked into us to make a change.
