How much does WordPress development cost in New York?
A custom theme build runs $4,000 to $10,000. Larger multi-section sites run $10,000 to $25,000. Rescues run $3,000 to $12,000 depending on what the audit finds, and care plans run $150 to $1,500 a month.
Can you fix a slow WordPress site?
Usually, and it starts with an audit rather than a quote. On plugin-heavy sites the wins are typically image delivery, database queries and scripts loading where they are not needed. You get before and after Core Web Vitals on your own URLs.
Should we use a page builder?
We would rather not. Builders make the first month easy and every month after harder through heavier pages and content locked into the tool. A properly built theme with editable blocks gives your team the same control without the weight.
Is WordPress secure?
It is the most attacked platform because it is the most used, which makes maintenance the security strategy. Updates applied and tested, unused plugins removed, sensible hardening and backups that have been restored at least once as a test.
Can you take over a WordPress site someone else built?
Frequently, and it is the most common request we get in this market. We audit the theme, the plugin list, the versions and whether anything was modified in place, then tell you honestly whether repairing or rebuilding is better value.
Can you move us off WordPress?
Yes, and sometimes we recommend it. If nobody applies updates and the site is a brochure, a simpler managed platform costs less to own. The migration work is the same either way and the redirects are what protect your rankings.
What does a care plan actually include?
Updates applied and tested on a staging copy, backups taken and verified by restoring one, uptime and security monitoring, and named support hours. If a plan does not say what happens when something breaks at 9am, it is not a plan.
Do you have an office in New York?
We work with New York clients remotely on Eastern hours and would rather say that than imply otherwise. Not carrying city overheads is part of why our numbers differ from local agencies.
